From NFT chrome to flesh and blood ambassador: Sorare celebrates the incorporation of Messi

Sorare, fantasy sneaker with NFT cards, announces Lionel Messi as the platform's new ambassador. To celebrate, the company's team will give away six limited edition NFT cards of the popular Argentine soccer player.

To participate, those interested must follow Sorare on her official Twitter account and retweet the announcement. The giveaway was announced this November 9, 2022 and will end at 10 am ET on November 14, 2022. Sorare will publish the list of winners the following day, November 15.

The information has been disclosed in a series of tweets this November 9, published by Sorare, where they alluded to having a surprise up their sleeve for their users.

One of the first messages shows an image of the Argentine player with the following quote: "I believe that the potential of what Sorare is building is immense." Sorare also stressed the importance of the commercial union between the company and the athlete. "Messi and Sorare: name a more iconic duo," stressed the fantasy deportivo in his tweet.

Immediately after, Sorare flooded his timeline with more visual content from Messi. One that stands out especially is a video of the soccer player wearing a Sorare shirt and making touches with a baseball.

The video was retweeted on Sorare's account, although it was originally posted by the alternate account of the baseball ecosystem, Sorare MLB. The tweet was complemented by the phrase: "brb watching Messi juggle a baseball forever."

The following messages consisted mostly of photos of the player in the Sorare shirt, with messages such as: «From Rosario to Barcelona, from Paris to Sorare. Welcome, Leo”, and a emoji of a goat, which symbolizes the acronym GOAT (“Greatest Of All Time” or “the best of all time”, in Spanish).
