  - There are exciting plays, dribbling and goals.

  - Football digital assets can be commercialized and obtain exclusive benefits.

  - There are also shields, flags and jerseys used by professional players.

They put a collection up for sale  NFT  which tours the main clubs of  football  from Argentina. The initiative was developed thanks to an alliance between the platform  UPLAND , the Argentine Football Association ( AFA ) and the Professional Football League ( LPF ). Argentine fans will be able to collect exciting plays, dribbling and goals from their favorite teams.

Through this proposal, football digital assets can be commercialized and obtain exclusive benefits. Among them, the possibility of frequently participating for tickets to watch professional league matches stands out.

The only requirement is to be part of the UPLAND community. You can also access signed shirts, discounts in official stores and other special prizes.

The general director of UPLAND in Argentina, Leandro Petersen, explains the short-term goal they set for themselves with the launch of the NFT collection of Argentine soccer teams:

“Our mission now is to adjust our operation to the reality of our country and create favorable conditions for the people and companies of Argentina to experience the  metaverse  and understand how this ecosystem unites entertainment and good business opportunities”.

For the president of  the AFA , Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia, emerging technologies are an incentive for clubs to adopt a new business culture:

“The Professional League already wanted to improve the fan experience, generate new digital products and diversify the sources of profit. The commercial alliance with Upland goes in that direction and we hope that the interaction between clubs and fans will be beneficial for all".

The leadership of world champion soccer in Qatar 2022 has been showing great interest in new technologies. In fact,  It is not the first project  that brings together the AFA with the Silicon Valley startup (valued at 300 million dollars).

NFT Collection Details

The NFT collection includes illustrations and videos of goals, special plays, shields and flags. It also offers historical moments and shirts used by the players of the clubs of First Division of Argentina. The intended digital pieces can be sold on the platform and thus generate profits from the sale.

In principle, the NFTs on goals and more showy plays will have an extra value. In five years, the market that already works within the global community of the platform has moved more than 10 million dollars in the purchase and sale of virtual land and other types of assets. UPLAND currently has over 4 million downloads worldwide.

The novelty that is now confirmed and presented was anticipated as a spoiler for the large audience that attended Gamergy. This is one of the biggest community gatherings  gaming  de  Latin America , held on April 7, 8 and 9, in Tecnópolis. An action that generated considerable interest among fans of football and digital games alike.

Upland and a special benefit for fans

The Argentine public interested in joining this  Web 3.0  will have an additional benefit. By downloading and registering in the UPLAND app, new Argentinian users will get the first virtual terrain in the metaverse of  Buenos Aires .

Those who wish to acquire more will be able to acquire properties in the virtual capital of Buenos Aires, which still has close to 1,000 virtual lots waiting for the first owner. Those available are found in six of the best known neighborhoods of the City: La Boca, Puerta Madero, Recoleta, Retiro, San Telmo and Núñez.
