Brazilian startup wins competition in Argentina

The gaming startup  blockchain  in games brazilian Trexx won a competition of technology startups from  Ripio  with the La Chain blockchain. Organized by Ripio, the competition took place this weekend in Argentina with the participation of 18 companies.

The startup also took third place with the da--nbsp blockchain; Avalanche . In addition, she was one of five startups selected to speak with Argentine funds at the exchange's main event, Modular. The conference is scheduled for Thursday (22).

Competition consolidates web3 market

The challenge featured 18 teams in total. Trexx was the only Brazilian team and the one with the most women. The winning project was a marketplace for leasing items from  games  em  NFT  multichain.

According to the CEO of Trexx, Helo Passos,

“We are very happy and excited, this victory shows the great potential of Trexx and its team. In addition to consolidating our expertise in the  web3 , placing us as one of the main players in web3 gaming da  Latin America ”.

According to the startup's CTO, Vinicius Chagas, the differential of participating in the competition is the difficulty of developing in a short time.

“The competition is a great opportunity to evolve the product quickly. We were able to do tests and collect feedback from people on different projects, which adds a lot to our product. On the other hand, developing an MVP in such a short time is challenging, it takes a lot of patience, dedication and resilience”.

Chagas adds that the main technical difficulty was integrating the product into different blockchains, but that was overcome with the support of all the mentors. “This was very important as at Trexx we want to build multichain products that leverage the best of each blockchain. Therefore, each competition is an opportunity to integrate and learn about a new blockchain, as well as learn about innovative tools in the development world”, he reinforces.

For the leader of the Open Innovation area at Trexx, Sabrina Olivo, it is a “satisfaction to represent Brazil and win this victory – with an international flavor”. “In the last year I won four national and international hackathons and I am determined to turn these events into a powerful tool to boost our blockchain-based products, using resources from web3, such as Hackathons and Grants”, she says.

According to Olivo, hackathons will now become a gateway for attracting investments through web3 Grants, thus boosting our technological innovation. “I am truly excited about the opportunities the future holds and excited to be a part of this initiative at Trexx. Together, we will build a brilliant path for the company and for the web3 community”, he highlights.

Trexx advances in the blockchain gaming sector

Helo Passos adds that this will be a year of many innovations for Trexx. In addition to the partnership with the Asian AAG and the Japanese Born Ape Society, recently announced, the startup is in the process of finalizing the development of its game: Boom Boogers.

Boom Boogers is a game developed by Trexx that has gone through a refactoring process to provide one of the best experiences on the blockchain games market, as talents who have worked at large companies such as Gameloft, Tapps,  Disney , Puga, among others, are developing the project.

Trexx has a team of 9 people, and will soon open new vacancies in the area of technology and arts.
