BNB Chain Partners with GAIMIN to Grow Web3 Gaming
BNB Chain's interest in GameFi keeps growing! The latest partnership is another big step to building a strong Web3 gaming community.
BNB Chain Joins with GAIMIN
BNB Chain has partnered with GAIMIN to combine forces and grow Web3 gaming initiatives. The new partnership announcement will also focus on Esports and further feature the GAIMIN Gladiators, GAIMIN’s Esports organization.
The world’s most active and voluminous blockchain, BNB Chain, will work with GAIMIN to kick start usage for the “underutilised resources found in gaming PCs,” according to a press release on January 24.
GAIMIN is a top decentralized, distributed data processor in the world that focuses on monetizing computation power for gaming and will help BNB Chain transfer this power to Web3 gamers, according to Martin Speight, CEO of GAIMIN.
"I am delighted to be working with BNB Chain to deliver Web3 technology to the gaming community,” Speight is quoted in the press release. “Our technology is designed to enable games developers to convert their AAA Web2 games to Web3 and allow the incorporation of blockchain functionality and services into their games."
BNB Chain has begun concentrating efforts on blockchain gaming to begin quarter one of 2023. Along with launching its Game Jam competition in January 2023, the latest announcement with GAIMIN shows a strong pivot towards Esports and GameFi ambitions. The Gladiators team competes across several major Web2 games like Rainbox Six, DOTA 2, Rocket League, and more.
"We selected GAIMIN to become our first Partner for Web3 Esports Growth Initiatives following our review of its business model and its ability to reach the global gaming community,” added Walter Lee, Partner Growth and GameFi leader at BNB Chain. “We are particularly excited by GAIMIN's approach to developing Web3 based technologies that allow games developers, and most importantly gamers, to benefit from this growth market."
Speight confirmed in the press release that additional announcements will come in to confirm the capacity and relationship with GAIMIN Gladiators.
