Blockchain platform “MÁS” launched for fans of the Royal Spanish Football Federation

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) launched its “MÁS” application, a tool that comes with Blockchain technology to protect identity and guarantee a different experience for its fans.

“The app for fans of La Roja aspires to become a new experience that, technologically, is a pioneer among similar applications from other national federations. It is an app with a fresh design, very manageable, and with blockchain that responds to the most advanced security standards”,

indicated from the official statement.

The platform is part of a commitment included in the Strategic Plan 2020-2024 related to social impact, image and international projection, and digital transformation of the RFEF.

Its name 'Más', was given by a play on words between the initials of 'Muy Aficionado a la Selección', since one of the objectives of the strategy is to increase the feeling of the followers of the Spanish team.

In MORE ,  fans will have access to exclusive content, personalized national team artwork, discounts on collaborating brands or the chance to meet the players in person.

“This Fan Club goes beyond an APP. Wise Security Global has pioneered decentralized digital identity management to ensure the privacy of all users' data. The fans of the National Team gain confidence and security, and the RFEF provides innovation and regulatory alignment with the new European legislation”,

explained  Luis Rubiales, president of the RFEF .

At the end of May, the RFEF terminated its alliance with the cryptocurrency exchange Huobi, because the crypto platform of Chinese origin was not authorized by the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) to provide services in Spain.

For this reason, this new mobile application, which is now available for download on the iOs and Android operating systems, and aims to reach 100,000 users to promote data management and a decentralized digital identity, with which they seek to protect personal data from users, following the provisions of European legislation.

The public version of the app will be free. However, there will be an annual subscription that allows users to access more exclusive content and benefits such as: meet the players; participate in VIP activities; and discounts in the official store.
