Carbon credit token platform that supports Amazon preservation project, Ambify joins ABCripto

ABFY is used in carbon footprint reduction projects and other programs to combat climate change.

 

The Brazilian Association of Cryptoeconomics ( ABCripto ) announced this week the entry of Ambify, the platform issuing the ABFY token, which is linked to investments in projects to neutralize or reduce de  carbon footprint emission . As a result, the association now has 30 members.

Available on Brazilian and foreign exchanges , ABFY aims to help reduce the impacts generated by climate change. With the utility token, individuals and companies can offset their carbon footprint in the atmosphere. 
 
Among the projects developed or supported by the Ambipar Group, the Brazilian multinational that owns the Ambify application, is Envira Amazônia, “created to pay for forest conservation and ecosystem services, also known as the reduction of emissions from deforestation and degradation project (redd+) .

According to the project's official page, o  Envira Amazônia  should reduce the release of more than 12.5 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions while at the same time preserving habitat for an extraordinary amount of biodiversity and directly benefiting local communities.
 
“ABCripto is proud to welcome Ambify, which will bring a more sustainable, fair and resilient financial system for all. Also, our partnership strengthens the vision that ABCripto believes in a green and digital future, so we neutralize our carbon emissions - from our jobs, events, offices, actions and displacements - through Ambify's crypto technology", said the director -president of ABCripto, Bernardo Srur.
 
When commenting on Ambify's entry into ABCripto, the Director of Digital Assets at Ambipar Group, João Valente stated that: 
 
“We know that the crypto market has been growing more and more in Brazil and we believe that, together, we can help defend the interests of users, communities and companies that make up this market.”
