Lotte Information & Communication issues NFT for the 2023 season of the Giants baseball team

Lotte Data Communication announced on the 20th that it will issue a collectible non-fungible token (NFT) with the theme of the professional baseball league this season in collaboration with the Lotte Giants, a professional baseball team belonging to the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO).

The name of the 2023 season theme NFT was set to 'ON-E'. Based on Lotte Giants' new VI (Visual Identity) this year, we plan to include highlights of the season and release a total of 100,000 NFTs over six times.

The issuance of NFTs is carried out through the platform 'Cottonseed' opened by Lotte Data Communications earlier this year. Members who download the Lotte Giants official app can store NFTs in cotton shigap for free through attendance check.

The first NFT issuance date is the 3rd of next month, and only users who download the app by the 26th of this month are given a chance to present. If you participate in all issuances and collect all 6 types of NFTs, you can receive prizes such as special goods and a total of 4 tickets for the opening series of the 2024 season.

This is not the first time Lotte Data Communications and Lotte Giants have collaborated on NFTs. At the end of last year, through cooperation between the two sides, the 'G-Star Fan Cafe Manager' NFT and the NFT card commemorating the retirement of the team's franchise star Lee Dae-ho were issued.

Regarding the ON-E project, Lotte Information and Communications said, "We planned this project to provide a more special experience and value to fans who loved baseball and the team."
