LINE NEXT sells NFTs of artist Whanki Kim, master of abstract art in cities

 

[E-Daily Reporter Lim Yoo-gyeong] Line Next (CEO Ko Young-soo), a subsidiary of Line's global blockchain business, will exclusively sell three types of non-fungible token (NFT) works by Kim Hwan-ki, produced by the Hwaki Foundation and LG OLED, on the NFT platform 'City' 10 the day said

This collaboration was made in commemoration of the opening of the world-class art fair 'Freeze Seoul 2023'. The planning goal is to provide a Web3 experience that not only art lovers but also the general public can easily enjoy through the works of Korean art masters.

 

In the city, until the 6th of next month, three types of NFTs will be sold, including the ▲Sacred Heart VIP Voucher, △Heart Icon General Voucher, and △Heart Icon Limited Voucher, produced by Kim Hwan-gi's representative work. NFT buyers receive real-life experiences such as tickets to Freeze Seoul and Whanki Museum, exhibition catalogues, and art prints, as well as a collection of digital works.

Artist Kim Whanki is a pioneer in Korean abstract art, drawing sympathy from around the world with works that combine Korean national sentiment with Western modernism. This digital work was produced by the Hwaki Foundation in partnership with LG OLED, and is the only NFT project presented by LG OLED as the official headline partner of Freeze Seoul 2023.
