Hanwha Eagles' membership NFT coming out
Ground X-Hanwha Eagles Membership NFT Service Agreement
Ground X (CEO Yang Ju-il), Kakao's blockchain technology subsidiary, announced on the 17th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanwha Eagles for membership Non-Fungible Token (NFT) service.
Through this MOU, the two companies plan to produce NFTs using the Hanwha Eagles club mascot, and provide pre-booking rights for season home games and discounts on goods to a limited number of buyers.
Hanwha Eagles membership NFTs will be sold in Ground X's NFT distribution service 'Clip Drops' in the middle of next month.
Ground X provides blockchain technology infrastructure and services so that membership NFTs can be used in various ways at Daejeon Hanwha Life Insurance Eagles Park, the home stadium of Hanwha Eagles. Through the check-in function using the digital asset wallet 'Clip', we plan to support fans with NFTs to use on-site F&B discounts and weekend game advance tickets.
Ground X plans to promote joint marketing with the Hanwha Eagles, and continue publicity using the Daum sports baseball section and talk channel. With Kakao, it plans to seek ways to connect services targeting fans in various sports areas in the future.
Kim Tae-geun, head of the Ground X business group, said, "We are delighted to collaborate with Hanwha Eagles, who have a strong fan base, to introduce membership NFTs." We ask for your interest," he said.
