Yummy launches NFT collection to finance startups in Venezuela
The CEO and founder of the Yummy service application, Vicente Zavarce, announced from his personal Twitter account that he has launched a collection of NFT with a theme associated with your company. He assures that all the proceeds from the sale of the NFTs will be used to finance startups In Venezuela.
This February 8th, the CEO of Yummy announced the launch of an NFT collection, with the image of the iconic backpack green used by the motorized ones that deliver deliverys of said company. The issuance of these NFTs will be for less than 7 days and, according to the CEO, no more NFTs will be created after the deadline.
In his Twitter thread, Zavarce assures that those who have an active subscription prime of your service, they will receive a Free NFT and instructions on how to claim it will be sent to you by mail. He affirms that those who maintain possession of these NFTs, will have additional benefits on the Yummy and Yummy Rides platforms. These benefits will be announced soon.
Zavarce asserts that all funds collected will be used to finance and promote the acceleration of startups Created in Venezuela.

How will the launch of the Yummy NFTs be?
For anyone interested in obtaining one of the NFTs, their issuance is through the platform Manifold , have a fixed cost of about 0.007 ETH, about 11.49 USD at the time of writing, and, at the moment, can only be purchased with Ethereum (ETH).
These are issued on the Ethereum network, as a token ERC721 , this is the most common format for NFTs on such a network. So anyone who wants to interact with these NFTs should use some Defi wallet like Metamask . The collection of issued NFTs will be able to be observed by different marketplaces as Rarible , OpenSea or LooksRare .
If they are in Venezuela, they will not be able to access OpenSea because it maintains an IP block on the country due to international sanctions.
At the time of writing, they have issued about 109 NFTs, about 0.763 ETH or about 1252 USD raised, and will close their issuance in about 5 days and 17 hours.
This is not Yummy's first encounter with the world of Web3 . Months ago in Yummy you could pay their services with Binance Pay in Venezuela, until 4 months ago the banking regulator of the country prohibited them from using this type of platform. They've even done alliances with NFT startup from the region for the sale of their merchandise.
