Fit Funds, presented the world's first banking metaverse platform at the US CES

Shinhan Bank's metaverse platform 'Cinnamon', developed by Fitfunds, a start-up specializing in financial metaverse production, was unveiled on the 9th at 'CES 2023', the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition held last week.
Cinnamon, which means Shinhan and Na meet in the Metaverse, is the world's first metaverse platform linked to the banking system. In Cinnamon, various financial products such as loans, installment savings, and funds can be operated with 'Churros', a virtual product. Another advantage of Cinnamon is that it can be linked to other platforms, services, and financial data owned by banks.
FitFunz' metaverse technology is evaluated as the best metaverse service in Korea with 3D web applied, such as applying 3D graphics using WebGL rendering to web browsers and optimizing web pages based on mobile web. The 3D space created by the web has the advantage that users can easily access it, as well as being able to link with other applications more easily. In addition to these technologies, Cinnamon also contains the world view of FitFunds, which aims to become a financial metaverse that can be enjoyed like a game.
Noh Gi-tae, CEO of Fit Funds, said, "By introducing Shinhan Bank's Cinnamon service to the world at CES 2023, it became a good opportunity to publicize the ideas and technology of Fit Funds." We will continue to make efforts to build a participatory financial platform that combines finance and finance.”
Established in October 2020 by developers from game companies, FitFunds started to make its name known by producing Corbit Town, a metaverse community first launched by Korbit, a virtual asset exchange in Korea. The event that rewards rewards with virtual asset airdrops introduced in Corbit Town also received a good response from virtual asset investors.
In 2021, Fit Funds was selected as the 7th Future's Lab, a startup support program by Shinhan Financial Group. Since then, the production of the 'Shinhan Future's Lab Welcome Day' metaverse, which enables non-face-to-face events, as well as the Shinhan 'SOL Baseball Park' launched in July of the same year, as well as Shinhan Bank's internal performance evaluation event venue, have been produced as a metaverse, etc. It is playing a key role in building the Shinhan Bank Metaverse platform.
