LGU+, University Metaverse Event with The Born Korea

 

LG Uplus announced on the 12th that it will hold various events with The Born Korea to commemorate the launch of UVERSE.

 

U-Verse is the only university-only meta-bus platform in Korea with features specialized for campus life, and events are held on Sookmyung Women's University's meta-bus 'Snowverse', a U-Bus member university.

 

Uverse presents a new level of marketing model that allows students to experience various companies and brands directly through content that avatars interact with, rather than one-way marketing by companies.

 

The Born provides university students with practical benefits such as brand partnership discounts that can only be obtained from the metaverse of their school, and promotes collaboration events to secure potential customers by conducting customized marketing for the Gen.G generation.

 

For the event, which runs until the 5th of next month, pop-up stores of 'Baekdabang' and 'Hanshin Pocha' were implemented with 3D modeling, and students can participate in events such as ▲Experience The Born Korea brand ▲N-Haengsi New Year's Literary Contest.

 

In addition, at the Metaverse Library, an event to achieve the daily target learning time using the 'Study with Me' function is held.

 

Students can move to the event zone through flyers handed out by the NPC manager at the main gate of Snow Bus, a virtual space, and can check event details through streetlight banners throughout the campus.

 

When you enter the event zone, you can experience the brand by watching a promotional video at the Baekdabang store or ordering food at the virtual kiosk at the Hanshin Pocha store. and The Born integrated gift certificates can be paid and used at offline stores.

 

As it is held during the midterm exam, the 'Study With Me' event is also held to achieve the learning goal of 1 hour a day. Study with Me, a college-specific function of Snowverse, is content that students can gather together at the Metaverse library and study together through avatars or cam studies.

 

Starting with The Born Korea collaboration event, LG Uplus plans to build a metaverse advertising system on Uverse, providing companies with tools to promote virtual branches and brands without heavy cost. In addition, we plan to establish a 'Daehakro Event Zone (tentative name)' where students from universities affiliated with U-Bus can interact regardless of their affiliation, and hold various monthly events linked to companies.

 

Jeon Seung-hoon, in charge of LG U+'s smart infrastructure business, said, "As U-Bus is a university-only metabus platform, we will create a profit model that can satisfy both companies and actual users, college students, and provide customer value, and implement a new ecosystem."
