This is how Lionel Messi's NFT Collection Looks To Celebrate His 17 Years In The Argentine National Team
Lionel Messi and the platform Ethernity Chain have announced a special partnership to launch a collection of 14 Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) reflecting the footballer's 17-year career with the Argentina national team .
According to reports from the web portal Morocotacoin.com, two of the 14 NFTs are already available on Ethernity Chain and draw attention for being a sample of Messi's most important moments during his career in the world cups with the albiceleste.
One of the authors of the incredible pieces of digital art is the Colombian Víctor Mosquera, who communicated through his Instagram account his excitement at being able to present an NFT titled “Lionel Messi: Gratitude ”.
“It is an honor to be part of the official Messi NFT collection on Ethernity Chain. Soccer is part of my life, so I appreciate collaborating with the best player of all time," Mosquera wrote.
On the other hand, Ethernity Chain also revealed an NFT by the name of “Lionel Messi: The Time Machine”, which was designed by Ethernal Labs, a creative studio and technological that uses Web 3.0 technology.
As for the remaining collectibles on Lionel Messi's career with Argentina, Ethernity Chain reported that it will release them on December 15, 22 and 29, 2022. In addition, an additional NFT will be available on January 5, 2023.
And that's not all, Messi fans will also be able to purchase a limited edition digital artwork commemorating his first appearance in world football in 2006.

Another curious fact about this alliance is that the people who acquire the NFTs will be able to claim up to four (4) rare and additional pieces.
In this case, each NFT represents a participation of Lionel Messi in the World Cups with the Argentina team:
- South Africa 2010: Argentina reached the quarterfinals. The technical director was Diego Maradona and the albiceleste fell against Germany.
- Brazil 2014: it was the best world cup for Lionel Messi. Argentina reached the final and lost 1-0 against Germany.
