We unveiled our first development roadmap in 2021, which outlined an ambitious timeline for developing a new standard for blockchain gaming over the next few years.

So far, we’ve successfully fulfilled our commitments to launch the accelerator, launchpad, and game development studio; here’s an update to the rest of our roadmap.

2022 Q4

New website

This quarter, we debuted a new version of the Gamestarter website, loaded with several visual and functional upgrades. For example, we have added an IDO search bar, a new vesting smart contract, a wiki, and our smart contract to facilitate the new IDO process.

User private profile update with allocation information.

This feature allows users to view their allocations privately and identify any changes made to them to help them understand their portfolio distribution and make informed decisions.

New IDO process

With its new sales process and protection protocol, Gamestarter makes it safer and easier for investors interested in IDOs to participate in those processes than ever before. Key takeaways include a two-phased IDO process (one private, one public), each phase lasting three days for 6 days in total.

Referral system

You can earn $GAME by referring projects on Gamestarter to $GAME. Any original and exciting games you come across should be submitted to us, and if the project passes Gamestarter’s due diligence you will receive 2000 $GAME or 70 USDT as a reward. Regardless of how many submissions you make.

Binance Custody

$GAME and $DARK tokens can now be deposited and withdrawn at Binance Custody through ChainPort, making these tokens available for purchase by a new category of investors.

OKC integration

It’s been a busy quarter for building strategic partnerships. We’ve teamed up with OKC, an EVM- & IBC-compatible L1 and programmable smart contracts platform designed to serve next-generation Web3 applications. This integration will be crucial in helping Gamestarter achieve faster and more cost-effective transactions.

2023 Q1

NFT Marketplace

To create a thriving NFT ecosystem, Gamestarter will debut its own NFT Marketplace where Gamestarter users can collect PFP and GS Studio games’ NFTs. This marketplace will also function as a cross-platform secondary market where digital assets from successfully launched games can be traded, giving NFT owners the ability to realize real-world value from their portfolios.

Gaming Guild

The upcoming launch of this platform is a testament to the importance these guilds could play in expanding play-to-earn gaming to traditional gamers. In addition, the GS guild will support gaming projects, supplying the requisite funds and the equitability needed to develop a lasting play-to-earn gaming ecosystem and lower the barrier of entry into crypto-gaming.

Gamestarter Academy

In this industry-first, on-chain projects at every stage of development can leverage Gamestarter’s Academy, which allows developers to learn from the ground up. This academy provides a comprehensive curriculum that covers all aspects of blockchain gaming, from design to marketing. In addition, this academy offers an accelerator program and the opportunity to participate in everything in-between incubation to acceleration, including press releases, project design, and even partnerships.

Web support bot

We are excited to release an A.I. web support bot for our customers. This bot will make it easy for people who want assistance with our product or service to contact us. We hope this will increase our customer support experience and make it more user-friendly. In addition, GS will continually enhance the bot to make it even more beneficial.

Integrating more networks

As a multi-chain solution, we guarantee cross-chain compatibility between the Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Solana networks. Recognizing a project’s utility to our community, we’re looking to integrate even more networks.

2023 Q2

Metaverse

Another critical element of the Gamestarter roadmap is our metaverse — with which Gamestarter plans to create interconnected gaming possibilities with the platform to establish seamless playability and connection between various games.

All the games successfully launched on Gamestarter will get a piece of land proportionate to the number of active members in their community.

Further, participation in the Gamestarter Metaverse will provide gamification, secret NFT drops, IDO whitelisting, mini-games, leaderboards, and game mechanics. Fractionalized NFT ownership for Metaverse land will also be available for IDO participants and in-built game testing environments for newly launched titles.

Gamestarter PFP NFTs

Gamestarter’s ecosystem will also feature utility multi-project PFP collections. These collections will bring about better decision-making opportunities to the community and produce additional benefits, i.e., provide PFP NFT holders with access to airdrops, events, whitelists, early project access, and metaverse perks.

Direct GAME Coin token purchase on the Gamestarter platform

We’ve already incorporated various ways to purchase $GAME, but you can buy GAME Coin tokens without having to go through an exchange or register on third-party sites. In addition, seed phrases and other sensitive data like addresses, keys, and account data will be securely stored in the browser’s local storage with MetaMask’s Eth-Keyring library, minimizing the possibility of error.

Gamestarter API

The Gamestarter API will be a powerful tool that allows Unity 3D developers to integrate GAME Coin economy solutions directly into their games. Our API allows developers to access platform features and functionality from their applications. Our marketplace solutions enable developers to create and sell games directly within the ecosystem.

Our API and Unity 3D plugin will make it easy for developers to build exciting new applications that integrate GAME Coin into their games and platforms. We can’t wait to see what they create!

The roadmap shares our expected vision for the coming year, but it doesn’t tell the whole story.

Despite our stated objectives, Gamestarter will continue to always build, innovate and be a titan of our industry. In the short term, there’s the possibility of new feature releases, making our expansive ecosystem even more robust. We’ve made it our mission to provide impactful features and services to our community and we won’t stop innovating anytime soon.
