What are NFTs? Bisbal puts his for sale
Almeria singer David Bisbal celebrates 20 years in music. Next Saturday, November 19, he will perform a concert in his land to celebrate his great musical career.
Merchandising has accompanied this celebration and one of the products that has attracted the most attention is NFTs. The artist publishes the sale of these products on his instagram account and many fans asked the same question: What are NFTs?
Before getting fully into its meaning, it is important to contextualize and know that there are fungible and non-fungible goods. Fungible goods are those that can be exchanged, having a value based on their number, size or weight. And non-fungible goods are those that are not replaceable. NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, a non-fungible token. Tokens are units of value that are assigned to a business model.
An NFT is like a work of art, something unique and original. They work through blockchain or block chain technology. It is the same technology as cryptocurrencies, which work through a decentralized computer network, with blocks or nodes linked and secured using cryptography. Each block links to a previous block, as well as date and transaction data, and is by design resistant to data modification.
Bisbal has presented the product with a video where he shows it and accompanies it with: "I have also received my special NFT from my 20th anniversary concert!!! It will already be part of this great moment and I remember!! I wait for you in Almería my land".
In a matter of hours the 'Sold out' sign for this product was hung, so the lucky ones who have been able to acquire it have obtained a totally exclusive product, an original and very innovative work of art.
