GameStop (GME) will release the GMERICA NFT collection tomorrow
The collection serves as a collaboration of popular pixel artist 1TZAH.
Back in July, Gamestop described its NFT Marketplace as a place where gamers, creators, collectors and other community members can buy, sell and trade NFTs. The website, nft.gamestop.com, already has several collections available for interested buyers such as League of Legendary Lions by manufacturer DAZ3D and NFTarot courtesy of Polyform-Labs.
However, it was recently announced that GameStop’s NFT Marketplace will be releasing its brand new GMERICA NFT collection, created in collaboration with artist 1TZAH, tomorrow. on TwitterThe GameStop NFT account touched on the news and shared information about when the collection will actually go live.
For those unfamiliar with 1TZAH’s work, they are best known for creating gorgeous pixel art renderings of popular games, though many are references to The Legend of Zelda series, including a GIF for Breath of the Wild that has nearly 20,000 likes on Twitter. Huh.
Judging by the mixed posts from 1TZAH and the positive reactions they have received, it looks like their NFT collection could do quite well, although it remains to be seen what kind of content the collection will offer. For that, you need to check the archive after it goes live tomorrow at 9:00 AM (PT), 12:00 PM (ET).
