RavenQuest expansion RavenIdle launching on 11th October
While the Immutable-based RavenQuest launched on 14th March, the fully-fledged PC-based MMORPG hasn’t as yet reached a widespread audience.
According to onchain data providers such as DappRadar, it peaked at less than 15,000 DAUWs, currently running at around 3,000 DAUWs.
But the forthcoming launch of its idle RPG RavenIdle on 11th October could change that.
As a web-based blockchain-light experience running on browsers and Telegram, RavenIdle is much more accessible to players, who don’t have to download a large PC game. The gameplay is also designed to be more accessible, requiring only 5 minutes of play a day, although committed players are likely to play much more.
Users can create an account now and also get involved in its referral system, which has a $10,000 prize pool that will be distributed via a leaderboard.
As for RavenIdle’s gameplay, players create an adventurer who fights endless autobattles, with success backed by the same complex custom class upgrade system as in the main game. Other features include resource gathering, farming and crafting modes, and an item trading system.
More generally, RavenIdle and future tie-in games are designed to link into the main RavenQuest game and its QUEST token, which will be given away as rewards.
There will be a $70,000 prize pool and up to $570,000 of QUEST tokens, NFTs and other in-game rewards for players who buy and complete the game’s 28-day battlepass.
