This was the fashion collection in the metaverse presented by Intermoda in Mexico

Mexican designers presented a clothing collection on a catwalk that combined technologies such as augmented reality and the metaverse.

The last 78 edition of Intermoda allowed attendees to interact with the event, through a QR code, as well as strategies to promote the event on Instragram, such as filters that allowed to observe colors and their coloration in metals.

Through the screen the insects came to life, the Mexican loom dress was adorned with precious stones, the cowboy jacket turned into thousands of colors and the garbage dress was filled with metals.

The runway brought together various brands to create these designs as a novel way of dressing and interacting with technology from the metaverse, to showcase what they have to offer.

The pieces were made by brands such as Salim, Uno+uno, Cactus and Mexican artisans, they were also friendly to 2D and 3D, which made their experience evolutionary in the metaverse.

From January 17 to 20, Intermoda will bring together 600 exhibitors and 21,000 buyers dedicated to the fashion industry from 18 countries in a space of 43,000 square meters and 13 specialized pavilions at the event.

The program includes catwalks by Mexican and foreign designers as well as conferences with specialists, so the digital components of the catwalk give added value to the advertising elements.
