The first Russian bookmaker in the metaverse: BetBoom opened its own club in GTA V

BetBoom was the first Russian bookmaker to open a betting shop in the metaverse. The club appeared in the Grand Theft Auto V game on the popular Majestic server. The interior of the virtual club resembles the BetBoom betting shop on Novy Arbat and retains its real functionality. This means that any adult server visitor can watch the match, place a virtual bet on the sporting event they like and receive their winnings in the game currency. 

 

The bright opening of the club was complemented by DJ Set Cream Soda and a virtual car raffle.

 

“This is a unique experience for us, no one has done this before. We have four hundred clubs all over Russia, but opening a betting shop in the metaverse requires different skills. We with partners from Majestic were able to recreate a real-life BetBoom club, retaining almost all of the real functionality”, - commented on the opening of BetBoom Marketing Director Petr Kipa.
