Woori Bank's selection of companion animal models at the end of last year, 'Challenge! Our Pet Model' event has been successfully completed.
About 10,000 people participated in the preliminary round of the companion animal contest held in November of last year in the era of 15 million people raising companion animals, showing a high competition rate of 400:1. Final voting took place.
Among the total number of votes of 160,000, the dog 'Lulu' and the cat 'Munwapoleong 1' received over 40,000 votes each and were finally selected as Woori Bank's pet models.
'Lulu' and 'Munwapoleon 1' will be active as Woori Bank's pet models this year, and will be available at Woori Bank's digital display board and branch offices from March.
In addition, in line with the digital trend, character NFTs were issued to provide a new customer experience by utilizing the characteristics of each of the 24 companion animals selected in the preliminary round.
The TOP24 NFTs issued by Woori Bank were issued as souvenirs that cannot be sold using an external NFT platform, and are planned to be used in various ways for ESG rather than economic purposes.
