Lotte Data Communications, 'Chosun's 4th hitter' Lee Dae-ho NFT issued

Lotte Data Communication announced on the 25th that it will issue 'Lee Dae-ho Non-Fungible Token (NFT)' to commemorate Lee Dae-ho's retirement with Lotte Giants.

 

Lotte Data Communication signed a business agreement with a blockchain company in July and is starting its NFT business in earnest. The issuance of this NFT is to commemorate the retirement of Lee Dae-ho, a star of the Lotte Giants. Lee Dae-ho finished his retirement ceremony last month with strong applause from 23,000 fans who filled the Sajik Baseball Stadium.

 

The 'Lee Dae-ho NFT' will be issued in the form of a photocard-type certificate to the winners of the photo auction for Lee Dae-ho's retirement commemorative uniform and photo exhibition.

 

The photo card contains the retirement ceremony slogan 'RE:DAEHO' along with Lee Dae-ho's appearance during his active career. In addition, along with Lee Dae-ho's autograph, photo cards will be issued in four categories: 'Chosun's No. 4 Batter', 'Giants Eternal No. 10', 'Giant's Pride', and 'Heart of Lotte'.

 

"This NFT issuance is meaningful as the starting point for building an NFT ecosystem in the future," said an official from Lotte Information and Communications.
