Cidade Alta holds black music festival in the metaverse

Cidade Alta, from the GTA RP server, will host the first festival of music in the metaverse, the IMuNe Festival, this Wednesday (23), in celebration of Black Consciousness Day. Shows from the event will be streamed live by players on Twitch.

The non-profit initiative will feature the in-game participation of national rap culture references, singers, presenters, members of Cidade Alta and several guests, such as the artist Bia Nogueira, Raphael Sales, Ceópatra, Maria Baldaia and the rapper Affront MC.

In addition to the shows, the IMuNe Festival will have a space where players will be able to explore the programming and excerpts of the best moments of the event that took place in person in Belo Horizonte on November 2nd and was attended by rapper Djonga and rapper and digital influencer Guxta .

The project is conceived by the musician, actress and producer Bia Nogueira, who emphasizes the importance of the collective of artists and their goal of achieving more and more visibility for black artists to project their work.

"This action in the metaverse creates a very interesting bond between black music and the gamer universe, we managed to bring all our ancestry to a 100% digital and decentralized audience and this is fundamental for the execution of projects that have the anti-racist fight as their main objective, to including debating spaces that are historically denied to us,” said the artist.
