Cheongdam Media Content NFT to be introduced at Korbit NFT Exchange

Korbit, a virtual asset exchange, announced on the 24th that it has signed a business agreement with Cheongdam Media to sell non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Through this agreement, Cheongdam Media plans to transform its own intellectual property (IP), story content, into NFT and present it on Korbit's NFT exchange. The NFT sales are exclusively handled by Korbit. According to Corbit, the work is expected to go on sale in the second half of this year. It has not been decided on which blockchain to issue the NFT.

Oh Se-jin, CEO of Korbit, said, “We will introduce an NFT that can give users pleasure by combining the IP of Cheongdam Media, which combines music, storytelling and animation, and Korbit’s blockchain technology at the Korbit NFT exchange.”

Meanwhile, Korbit is planning to introduce the NFT 2.0 exchange around October this year. The NFT 2.0 exchange plans to support not only Ethereum but also new chains such as Solana and Klaytn.

Cheongdam Media, a content development company, is securing a fandom by developing and distributing CeREELs, an original short-form animation content brand of various genres aimed at Generation Z, through its YouTube channel.
