Gamestarter Introduces New Protection Protocol To Provide Its Community With Extra Security

Here at Gamestarter it is our mission to provide our community with the best token launches from the most promising projects in the cryptosphere.

So we wanted to make our IDO workings as secure as possible for all of our $GAME stakers!

We have recently updated our protection protocol in order to make our community even more secure when buying tokens on our launchpad.

Community security is one of the most important aspects of our mission, and, after listening to your feedback, we decided to update and upgrade our protection protocol.

We are thrilled that this interaction between us and the community has brought about these much needed changes, and are always happy to hear from you and take your issues at heart.

In order to minimize the risk of customer dissatisfaction, these are the new terms that we will be implementing for your protection:

1 — Gamestarter will request the full amount of tokens allocated for the specific IDO to be sent to our launchpad 24 hours prior to the beginning of token sale.

The reasoning behind this is that if anything were to happen during the IDO, by holding the tokens ourselves, we would be able to take care of our buyers’ funding and organize a refund for all those concerned.

Only after having listed the token for 7 days, Gamestarter will release the funds raised during the IDO to the projects.

This is to make sure that all purchasers are satisfied with the IDO, and that nothing out of the ordinary has ruined the experience.

We have devised some protection fail-safes to make things even more clear-cut.

And they are there to protect you, the buyer.

2 — Gamestarter will issue a refund to token buyers who are also $GAME stakers in the case of the project having a partial token release (what we call a vesting period), and the if the token price drops below 20% during the first 7 days from the release and does not return to its initial price in 24 hours:

  • The refund is only available to buyers who are also staking $GAME.
  • The refund will only be issued to buyers who have not traded/moved the token in the meantime, are staking $GAME, and have initiated the refund process during the 48 hours refund option window.
  • If a buyer claims their tokens and then trades/moves them, they will only be able to refund the remaining tokens from next vestings.
  • If a buyer has not claimed their tokens or claimed them but has not traded/moved their tokens, they will get a 100% refund after sending the tokens back to us.
  • The refund will only take place once the buyers send the tokens back to Gamestarter.
  • Gamestarter will then send back the tokens to the project on behalf of the buyers.

3— If a project were to have a 100% token listing during the TGE (Token Generation Even), and the token were to drop in price below 20% of its listing value, Gamestarter will refund token buyers, who are staking $GAME:

  • The refund will only be issued to buyers who have not traded/moved the token in the meantime, are staking $GAME, and have initiated the refund process during the 48 hours refund option window.
  • If a buyer claims their tokens and then trades/moves them, they will only be able to refund only any remaining tokens.
  • If a buyer has not claimed their tokens or claimed them but has not traded their tokens, they will get a 100% refund after sending the tokens back to us.
  • The refund will only take place once the buyers send the tokens back to Gamestarter.
  • Gamestarter will then send back the tokens to the project on behalf of the buyers.

4 — Furthermore, in the case tokens are delivered in different moments as per vesting schedule, if the project’s token price were to drop by 50% below the IDO and if the token were not to recover in value to equal or exceeding the listing price by the 14th day after the vesting process, Gamestarter will stop the vesting process.

We will then proceed to issue the remaining undistributed tokens to the buyers, who are also staking $GAME and have requested a refund.

5 — In order to guarantee an extra layer of safety, and avoid fluctuations in the price of the token, token listing will not be allowed to take place later than 7 days after the last day of the IDO on Gamestarter.

This will ensure the availability of the token on listing in a short amount of time, thus guaranteeing major stability to the project’s currency during the first days after the IDO.

It is important to us for you to be clear on these technicalities.

At Gamestarter, we only partner with projects after a very thorough due diligence, and only if we recognize the utility that such a project may bring to our community.

That’s why the project owner undertakes to keep sufficient funds in locked liquidity in the amount of no less than 10% of the token value for the period no shorter than 24 months.

Before we draft our partnership proposal, we look at many aspects, including, but not limited to the team composition, the feasibility of the project’s roadmap, the tokenomics, and the overall idea behind the project and the token.

It is only through this exhaustive process that we can then ensure a successful launch for us, for the project and for our community.

And this is because we want Gamestarter to be the launchpad that offers the most secure experience for buyers.

As always, we value your feedback, so please do not hesitate to express your views in the comment section, by contacting us on Twitter, our support chat on Telegram, or by mailing us at hello@gamestarter.com.

We’re striving to make our launchpad’s processes as transparent as possible and to protect you from anything that might go wrong.

We’re in this for the long run, and we’re in this together!
