Over 90 Playable Experiences
90+ experiences will be revealed over the course of 10 weeks. You will have the chance to play our biggest season yet and discover solo and multiplayer experiences that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
There will be awesome content for every player. 27 experiences from brand partners such as Snoop Dogg, The Walking Dead, Deadmau5, Sueco, Warner Music Group, Ubisoft’s Rabbids, BAYC, World of Women, The Smurfs, Steve Aoki, Metapride, Care Bears, and Atari. There will also be 17 experiences from The Sandbox, 20 experiences supported by The Sandbox Game Maker Fund. On top of that there will be 12 user-generated content (UGC) experiences from independent creators, and 16 experiences from Game Jams.

Playable External Avatar
We’re putting a new spin on interoperability this season. We have successfully voxelized avatars from 13 beloved NFT collections that will be playable within The Sandbox Alpha Season 3. With over 140,000 playable avatars, it will be a piece of cake to play in a Rabbids experience with a Steve Aoki avatar, explore a The Walking Dead experience using your Bored Ape Yacht Club avatar or party at Club XYZ with our new resident DJ Steve Aoki as your Steve Aoki, Doggy, CoolCat, CloneX, World of Women (Galaxy), Moonbird, Cyberkongz, and many more!
Introducing: guaranteed rewards for holders
This season, discover a new system that will ensure that you are rewarded for being a supporter of our project. With rewards if you hold a specific NFT for the duration of the season, rest assured that you will be rewarded with some SAND. When completing a level, LAND Owners, Avatar Holders and NFT collector users will unlock SAND rewards, even without an Alpha Pass!
Compete for the leaderboard
Get ready for an exciting feature. In season 3, we will be giving away 1.5 M SAND to top ranking players in the leaderboard.
How does it work ?
Ranking is based on the total amount of Ethos Points (EPs) earned per user — users earn EPs for completing quests — and completion time! The harder a quest, the more Ethos Points you earn, the faster you are, the better your rank!
All quests are replayable, so you can improve your score endlessly. The first 5,000 ranked users will receive SAND rewards.
The player that ranks first in the leaderboard at the end of the season gets 30,000 SAND! Do you have what it takes to rank #1?
Note that leaderboard rewards will be claimable at the end of the season and you will need to verify your account to claim. More details to come soon.
AS3 Events
This season, take part in a wide array of events: Achieve in-game and social media activities to complete challenges and participate in giveaways! There are lots of exciting rewards on the line, so keep an eye out for them.
Safer and fair environment
To ensure fairness among users and keep everyone safe while playing the Sandbox Alpha, we will implement a KYC system.
This will help us better prevent multi-accounting, cheating mechanisms, and overall bad actors from entering contests and hindering the fun of The Sandbox Alpha.
You will still be able to play The Sandbox Alpha Season 3 without having your account verified, but your account will need to be KYCed to join our upcoming raffles or to be eligible for an Alpha Pass.
Remember, only one account per player!
Do not use a VPN set to Japan while playing The Sandbox Alpha Season 3. Due to country regulations you wouldn’t be eligible to the same rewards, nor will have access to the leaderboard.
