In early August, we will be deploying an important update to the Axie marketplace.
The update will enable the marketplace to use the ERC 1155 standard, which will enable support for NFT runes and charms.
The update will also include performance upgrades to handle the increased traffic that comes with periods of growth and adoption.
Finally, listings will have a max duration of 6 months on the new marketplace; this is a common feature on most NFT marketplaces and reduces NFT pollution.
As a result of this upgrade, all marketplace listings will be taken down. If you have Axies that are currently listed, you will need to re-list them after the upgrade takes place.
Sky Mavis will not be able to migrate your listings, as this requires us to sign transactions on your behalf. Creation of a mass re-listing tool was also considered but would have added more complexity to the launch.
