Parallel Unveils Community Clash Cup Trophy as Champion Set to Claim a 1/1 NFT

Parallel showed the Community Clash Cup trophy in a post on X. Whoever wins the event will receive a 1/1 NFT of the trophy.

The studio said the design came from Oscar Mar, art director at Parallel Studios. All players who take part in the Cup will get an AP version of the NFT.

For more details, the post linked to a Community Clash Cup page on Parallel’s blog. It did not give a date for the event.

One trophy, two editions

The prize has two tiers. Only the champion receives the 1/1 NFT. Everyone else in the field gets an AP version of the trophy.

The announcement did not say how many players will be in the Cup. It also did not mention any other prizes for the winner.

The road to the Cup

In July 2026, Parallel started Community Clash, a series of grassroots tournaments run by the community that all lead to one final event. Players who place well at these tournaments earn bids, or qualifications, for a spot in the Cup.

At the same time, the studio added an in-game event panel that makes it easier for players to find tournaments and sign up for them.

Parallel is a free-to-play sci-fi trading card game that players can download from the Epic Games Store.

Qualifier results

Each qualifier has used a different restricted format. Most were played as four rounds of best-of-one Swiss, and decklists were published after every event.

TILT_Zeromioda won the Singleton event on July 10 with a 4-0 record. The player went 4-0 again on July 23 and won the Alpha Set event, with Bullbence in second place and Tony_PGA in third.

On July 16, Head3968 won Pauper with a 4-0 record, beating alanpitanga, lobaobh and lynxpqp.

On July 31, Czar1Klas won the Planetfall Set event on Median Buchholz tiebreaks. Mystery_Exile came second and Tony_PGA came third.

Bullbence did not lose a match at the Aftermath Only event on Aug. 6 and finished 4-0.

Tony_PGA had already finished third twice. On Aug. 15, the player went 4-0 and won the Deception Only event.
