FIFA Rivals moving to stablecoin-based Pulse Market

Following similar moves for its Pudgy Party and Blankos NFT collections, Mythical Games is now preparing to migrate FIFA Rivals‘ NFTs to its new stablecoin-based Pulse marketplace.

Blankos was the test case, with that migration happening at the end of 2025, followed by Pudgy Party, which is also supported on the new infrastructure by the Pulse Arena tournament system. This allows players to enter free and paid tournaments to win a share of prize pools.

But with the 2026 World Cup fast approaching this summer, Mythical’s soccer game is the main priority.

Migration of all FIFA Rivals’ NFTs started on 5th March, with Mythical emailing NFT holders that everything is expected to be live on Friday 6th March.

As with previous migrations, the process cancels all current marketplace listings. The main reason is that the previous Mythical Market used the volatile MYTH token, whereas Pulse uses the USDC stablecoin running on the Polkadot-based Mythos blockchain.

Since its launch in June 2025, there hasn’t been much news about FIFA Rivals, although it did hit 1 million app store downloads within seven weeks.

One of the big issues with the game, indeed with all of Mythical’s games, is that the price of MYTH token has dropped 96% in the past 12 months, making it virtually impossible for anyone to successfully trade any NFTs in terms of profitability.

Switching all trading to stablecoins will, hopefully, enable these assets to retain their value in a more sustainable manner.

Mythical says the move “will ensure faster transactions, improved pricing stability through USDC, and an overall enhanced marketplace experience for Rivals players”.
