With 125,000 players, the Season 1 prize pool for RavenIdle is already over $130,000

 

 

 

 

Launched into its season 1 on 11th October, RavenIdle has already demonstrated strong appeal with the browser-based idle resource game attracting over 130,000 players. 

 

Developed by Tavernlight Games as a more accessible way to interact with the assets and world introduced by its Immutable-based MMORPG RavenQuest, the idle game is a broadly web2 experience which is powered by a $12 battle pass, also giving out rewards including NFT land, QUEST tokens and RavenPack NFTs. 

 

Funded in part by 100% of battle pass purchases, as well as purchases of the game’s Munk Coin hard currency, the season 1 prize pool is currently worth $130,000, and has another 16 days run.

 

There’s also a $10,000 prize pool for referrals.

 

As for the gameplay, RavenIdle is mainly a resource management game in which you grind through tasks such as mining, woodcutting, craft and farming to gather the items you need to equip your character to fight monsters and complete dungeons. 

 

There’s also a trading element while future modes include the PVP Gladiator Arena and the Dragon’s Den mini-game.
