AI game-creation platform Verse8 is getting Azuki and Moonbirds IP

AI-powered game creation tool Verse8 is working with IP blockchain Story to enable the use of Azuki and Moonbirds IP in its user-generated experiences.

Currently available in beta with a reported 800,000 monthly active users, Verse8 enables the creation and remixing of 2D and 3D multiplayer games using blockchain elements, generated via text prompts. Users can also create 3D assets from images.

Story’s onchain licensing system means that content using Azuki and Moonbirds IP can be registered, with the appropriate attribution and revenue-sharing via royalty payments automatically handled through the use of smart contracts.

For example, a player could design an Azuki-themed cyberpunk battle arena with custom avatars and lore, then offer premium content like exclusive weapons or missions, while ensuring a share of that revenue flows back to Azuki’s creators and NFT holders.

The collaboration is being launched at the Origin Summit as part of Korea Blockchain Week, with the functionality expected to roll out to Verse8 users in the coming months.
