Guild of Guardians is an upcoming NFT game that is set to be released on mobile and we’ve got everything you need to know about the new title.

The game is being published by Immutable, as well as being developed by Stepico. Immutable is one of the biggest blockchain gaming startups and Stepico is a mobile games development studio boasting a team of over 50+ devs and artists who have worked across AAA titles.

With the growth of NFT gaming overall over the past year or so, Guild of Guardians may be coming in at a great time to become a disruptor in the genre.

Release Date

According to the official FAQ on the Guild of Guardians website, the game is expected to be released at some point in “early 2022.”

Considering that we’re now out of Q1 of 2022, it’s not exactly clear when the game will be making its way to mobile devices.

The developers for the game confirm on the official website that the title works on the “play to earn” system:

“Guild of Guardians is a mobile RPG where players can turn their gaming passion into assets. It will be a multiplayer, fantasy, action RPG where players build their dream team of ‘Guardians’ and compete in a guild to earn epic, tradeable rewards.

“Players can play for free and earn heroes and items without spending any money. We are very excited by the ability for players to ‘play-to-earn’!

We are designing the game so that it won’t be pay-to-win by ensuring that skill and strategy are core elements of the game. In addition, spending money on Guild of Guardians won’t come at the expense of other players because the game is not focused on PVP.”
