🔎 Introduction

You play as a survivor of a transport ship in the interstellar space fleet investigating a confusing distress signal. When you finally reach the source of the call, you discover a destroyed planet that may be the mysterious birthplace of your race's civilization. A vast crystalline ocean engulfs a small part of the planet. Extreme weather is hitting the surface, and climate change is staggering. A blast of radiation disables the ship's engines, and you slam into the planet's surface. Climb out of the wreckage and you'll find majestic beasts, some of which possess near-god-like powers. Could this be the cause of the planet's decline? Fortunately, your race has begun to master the same energies as  Illuvials , and you are able to capture and control these godlike creatures, sealing them in shards of crystals called shards mined from the planet's surface middle. To unravel the mysteries of the planet, you'll become a hunter, travel across land to conquer and capture  Illuvials , and try to unlock the obelisks that seal off most of the world.

🔎 What is  ILLUVIALS ?

The planet's core emits a strange radiation that the beasts use to grow, mutate, and launch deadly attacks. Some  Illuvial  are easy to find, some are very rare. They are found throughout the vast wilderness. The radiation itself pulses in a non-organic way that seems somewhat familiar. There are  100  multiple  Illuvial  around the world to find and collect, each with unique abilities. They form a symbiotic relationship based on a shared kinship or class, known as synergy. Using a hybrid synergy system, Illuvials  get stronger when working as a team in the battle arena, so make sure to collect synergy combos to maximize your chances of winning. Different synergies create different rewards for your team, allowing you to defeat opponents -- even if they have more raw power than you -- nbsp;Illuvial . The Fusion feature allows you to combine multiple  Illuvial  s of the same type into one more powerful beast with different properties and sometimes of completely different classes or breeds. Keep in mind that some  Illuvials  clues are very rare and hard to find, making their fused forms even harder to spot.

🔎 Team building

In the immersive environment of this broken planet, Illuvials are constantly appearing and disappearing, and they are difficult to track (hunt and dodge) - don't expect an easy fight when you do. Once combat begins, each  Illuvial  will find an enemy to fight, with the help of your game character with enough advanced technology to stand firm against these incredibly powerful creatures. Don't forget the synergy between Illuvials  - make or break it!

Battle the mysterious  Illuvials  -- if you win, they can be stored in shards and accompany you on a fantastical adventure. Fragments vary in power - if you're dealing with more powerful  Illuvials , be sure to use the more powerful ones. Otherwise, you risk losing that rare creature forever. Battles will make the collected Illuvial companions stronger, level up and increase their power. Once you've collected all three creatures that have reached their threshold, you can fuse them together into one more powerful creature.

If  Illuvial  injury, don't worry -- the shard that seals it has a time-based regeneration that works on any creature stored inside. Your combat team will be able to regain full health within a certain time frame. However, if you want them to be restored immediately, they can be restored by using various items or by paying a small fee. Some Illuvials are rarer than others, and if you're lucky, you might catch shiny, golden or holographic rare pets. Assuming so, your  Illuvial  will always stand out in the arena, intimidate, and maybe even invincible.

🔎 Affinity

The origins of the Illuvials themselves are a mystery, but so is their close connection to the elements of this alien world.  Illuvials  mainly connected with one of the  5  elements: water, fire, earth, air and nature. The most powerful ascension form is combined with two elements (Frost  =  air  +  water), or a stronger combination with a single element (hell   =  fire--nbsp ;+  fire). Make sure your team is tactically chosen. Your  Archeleon  may be powerful for its overgrowth affinity (natural  +  natural), but in battle with  Inferno Illuvial  They will be at a serious disadvantage, so choose wisely.  

🔎 Occupation

Illuvials  is divided into  5  occupations: Warrior, Guardian, Rogue, Psion and Empathizer. As with many  RPG  games, the choices you make with the  Illuvial  class will affect the outcome of your battle with the wild  Illuvial . Pick a team that has synergy in qualities and characteristics and have it act as a unified combat unit. Ascension forms are so powerful that sometimes they contain both class skills, such as Killer (Warrior  +  Rogue), or become more powerful in one class, such as Summoner (Psion)  + psion ).

🔎  THE ILLUVIARY

The beginning of the story#

After the crash, you stumble across an almanac with " Illuviary" scrawled on it. Your people must have landed here a long time ago. Inside, you'll find indexes for every  Illuvial  found in  Illuvium , but all locked. To unlock an entry, you must find and capture  Illuvial  and record its digital signature into  Illuviary . If you are the first person in the universe to discover a particular digital signature, your name will always appear in the global  Illuviary  database, right next to what you find. But this digital signature contains much more than the Illuvials ' biometrics ... it may be the key to unlocking the  Illuvium  mystery. From the beginning, we envisioned  Illuvium  as a game of exploration and mystery. Therefore, at launch, there will be no pre-public information about the many  Illuvial  in the game. We expect many items to be unlocked on day one, but we want players to enjoy the sense of wonder that comes with pure discovery and exploration.

How do I play? #

Start by customizing your character. Then select the slave drone under your polymorphism. Once you and your partner are ready, you can travel to explore the various regions of the world and unravel its mysteries. During the course of your adventure, you'll encounter  Illuvials that you can fight. If you subdue them, seal them with shards so they are yours forever. But be careful, shards have different power levels. Less powerful shards will most likely not be able to fight powerful  Illuvial . For starters, you'll be able to mine free shards that can only catch certain less powerful  Illuvials . But you will be able to start the game and learn the mechanics without spending any money. For games that require a lot of upfront capital, we think this is a welcome change. There are many areas to explore, but most are inaccessible to first-generation players. Over time, players will unlock obelisks that allow them to travel to new beautiful, challenging and important areas with new  Illuvials  to battle and collect, and to further Find out what's going on here.  

In-game purchases #

ETH is used for all in-game purchases, and fees are sent directly to the  Illuvium Vault .

• Enhancements (improves the state property of  Illuvials  )

Adventure #

For some players, the appeal of the game is to travel the world and collect  Illuvials . This can be very lucrative, especially if the player manages to capture something rare and powerful. Illuvials  will become harder to catch over time. As more and more pets are discovered, their catch rate changes as it is fundamentally related to the number of catches at that time. The difficulty of capturing  Illuvials  will also increase. Your current team (including yourself) will grow in power as you venture out into the wild and encounter  Illuvials .

Battle Arena #

Some players will choose to fight each other to prove who is the better hunter. These players will line up in arena qualifying matches, where they can be paired with a random opponent with similar skills, or call up other players in the Leviathan Arena for a special wagering match. The rest of the players will be able to watch the game and place a bet on the outcome.

ILLUVIDEX ( ILLUVIUM  Exchange) #

The Illuvium Exchange is an online marketplace managed by  Illuvium DAO  for players to buy and sell all in-game  NFTs . The main component of  IlluviDEX  is the trade of  Illuvials , though all NFTs found in the game can be traded there.

Mining and Harvesting #

Your Subordinate Drone ( PSD ) is more than just a nice looking gadget. In addition to storing and assisting in combat, your  PSD  is also able to mine minerals from the Earth's surface and forge them into useful items. The land is dotted with deposits containing ores, unsolidified fragments and rare gems. After harvesting these, use your drone to forge them into weapons and armor by infusing the material with energy. Some materials are very rare and provide stronger bonuses for your gear. Use these yourself for a combat advantage, or sell them on  IlluviDEX .  Illuvium  There are trees growing everywhere that produce alien fruits of various energy pulses. Harvesting these can boost your  Illuvials  in battle, or restore them to health without returning  Sanctum Mesa .

Fragment SHARDS#

Shards are probably the most important items in the game. Only with these shards can the player capture the best  Illuvials in battle. So every player wants to stock up on something before venturing into the game world. You can mine them from mines, and you should make sure you always have some Shards available in case you accidentally come across a rare Illuvial . As with most elements in the game, shards are divided into various tiers based on their ability to capture  Illuvials .  Illuvial  The stronger it is, the harder it is to catch. This is where strong sharding is most effective. The quality of the shards you pull from the ground is random, the most powerful are also the rarest. If you want to make sure you can capture everything you find in the world, then IlluviDEX is worth checking out, where you can get the shards you want.  

Weapon #

In  Illuvium , it's not just  Illuvial that fights. You start combat as a player character, wielding futuristic weapons that can be outfitted with gems that store  Illuvials  Essence, allowing you to exude an aura that enhances your  Illuvials in battle . The weapon you choose also determines your class, which gives your team additional benefits. Weapons can be sold on  IlluviDEX  like most other NFTs in the game.

armor#

Also forged from items mined on  Illuvium , the armor is your defense against the beasts. If your armor is damaged too much, you may need to wait until it regenerates. The armor you choose will affect the fight, as each piece of armor has different properties. Choosing the right armor for you and your team is one of many decisions you'll need to make in-game. Armor can be sold on  IlluviDEX  like most other  NFTs in the game.

Phantom IMBUES#

Transmogs are cosmetic changes that can increase the value of a player's collection by further distinguishing the items acquired between players.  Imbues  are modular in nature and can be applied to multiple projects, or you can decide to sell them on  IlluviDEX . Various items in the game can be infused, such as weapons, armor and even drones.
