Grand Arena Season 2 Turns Moki Cards Into Tokenized Shares as Moku Overhauls the Format

grand arena season 2 turns moki cards into tokenized shares as moku overhauls the format In Brief:

Moku redefines Grand Arena gameplay for Season 2

Season 2 of Grand Arena arrives in October 2026, and with it comes a move away from active lineup management toward portfolio construction. Moku’s intent is to pull players into a slower, longer-horizon relationship with the assets they hold.

At the heart of the redesign sits Mokiball, an automated game built around AI-driven entities known as Mokis. Card collecting remains, but the cards themselves have been reframed: they now stand for tokenized shares of Mokis instead of simply serving as lineup pieces.

Changing daily gameplay

The first season ran as a fantasy manager experience, with players routinely reshuffling lineups for competitions decided by how Mokis performed. Season 2 turns that around, asking players instead to accumulate and hold a stronger roster of Mokis and stripping out much of the daily upkeep. When a Moki performs well in Mokiball, holders see returns whether or not they logged in that day — closer to owning equity than to playing fantasy sports.

Shorter seasons with weekly payouts

At four weeks, Season 2 runs far shorter than the 12-week debut season. Payouts arrive weekly, tightening the feedback loop considerably. Rather than everything hinging on a single drawn-out finale, the compressed schedule creates four separate reward moments.

That restructuring fits the pivot toward holding assets, delivering concrete returns on a regular cadence without demanding heavy daily involvement. Moku has said certain gameplay-related fees will come down, though it has not spelled out what those adjustments look like.

Continuity and presale offerings

The majority of Season 1 champions carry forward, so returning players are not starting from scratch. Ahead of launch, a presale of Season 2 packs gives players a window to assemble their portfolios early.

That timing suits the new design: players can show up with positions already in place rather than racing to catch up once the season is underway.

Revenue model changes

Moku has confirmed that a share of Grand Arena’s revenue will be directed toward buying Schiffy, following through on an earlier pledge to weave the partner token into its ecosystem. Routing actual revenue this way sets it apart from the marketing-driven partnerships more common across the sector. How much impact it has comes down to how well Grand Arena performs financially — a figure Moku has left unstated.

Background on Moku and Grand Arena

Grand Arena serves as Moku’s fantasy gaming hub, where AI-driven Mokis compete in automated matches. The platform operates on Ronin and rolled out its in-game currency, bRON, in April 2026. Pegged to RON, the token can only be spent inside the game ecosystem and is earned through a range of gameplay routes.

Expansion has been a steady theme for Moku lately. Season 2 comes on the heels of a slate of five planned games, the first of which is Nomgar on September 14, 2026. Through that spread of titles, Moku is angling for a foothold in a crowded gaming market while continuing to iterate on Grand Arena itself.
