Mythical launches EVM-based Pulse marketplace and arena platform

Mythical Games has introduced a major new platform to its ecosystem with the beta launch of its Pulse platform.

This includes Pulse Market, which uses the USDC stablecoin, although users can also pay with various tokens including MYTH, ETH, and PENGU. However, users set the price for their potential NFT sales in USDC, ensuring the stability of the value they receive.

Pulse Market is currently live in a very stripped down form for Blankos NFTs but Mythical’s other games including NFL Rivals, FIFA Rivals and Pudgy Party are expected to also make the transition in 2026.

The other element of Pulse is its paid tournament-based Pulse Arena. This is live in beta with Pudgy Party. Players can pay to enter tournaments using Pudgy Penguins’ PENGU token, running on the Abstract blockchain.

Examples include paying 100 PENGU tokens, worth around $1, to potentially win a prize pool of 3,360 PENGU.

There hasn’t been any official announcement about the platform but it appears to be using the Mythos blockchain as did the original Mythical Market.

It also has the ability for users to connect external wallets such as Metamask or Abstract, which uses social log-ins via the Privy wallet solution. This provides more flexibility, especially in terms of allowing users to fund their wallet from other crypto sources, not just using debit or credit cards.

The other big shift is that Pulse seems much more Ethereum compatible than Mythical Market, which is based on the Polkadot ecosystem.
