Amid token recovery, Wild Forest launches on Epic Games Store

Following a brutal start to 2025, which saw a community backlash and its new token down over 90%, Ronin-based mobile/PC strategy game Wild Forest is making a recovery.

One element of this is the game’s release on the Epic Games Store.

Previously it was only available through mobile app stores and the Mavis PC game launcher.

Development team Zillion Whales is hard at work reshaping the experience, including adding a PVE mode to what is currently a competitive PVP experience.

The game economy is also getting a refresh with token rewards for completing quests and for leaderboard positions. The game provides additional reward for those who stake the tokens and the game’s Lord NFTs.

A future goal is a push into esports with a tournament ecosystem planned, backed by grants for partner events and competitive circuits. There will also be an official Wild Forest Cup.

All this activity has impacted the WF token too, which is now up 240% in the past month, in part because 5 million tokens have been burned from in-game revenue, with the community staking a further 40 million tokens.

However, the price still remains down 82% from its December 2024 launch.

“Our growth isn’t just a market coincidence — it’s the result of consistent game updates, real token utility, and the incredible support from our community,” said Wild Forest’s CMO Sasha Morozova.
