9th May: Given previous deals with the likes of the Care Bears and Smurfs, it was only going to be a matter of time until The Sandbox hooked up with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po.

In an experience entitled Teletubbies: Custard Chaos, which has been created by Singapore-based Smobler, players have to fix leaking pipes and gears using power-boosted boots to fix the out-of-control Tubby Custard Machine.

It launches on Friday 9th May as part of The Sandbox’s Alpha Season 5, which itself ends on 17th May.

23rd April: Continuing its cadence of top brand activations as part of Alpha Season 5, The Sandbox has announced a multi-year deal with Bruce Lee Enterprises.

This will include the launch of Bruce Lee-themed experiences within the AdventureWorld: The Wildlands location. Other IPs in this location include Jurassic World and The British Museum.

The first element to launch will be a martial-arts-and-philosophy-themed social hub. This will include mini-games and allow players to participate in reward pools tied to avatar collections. In the future, there will also be a solo experience called Tao of the Dragon, which will highlight Bruce Lee’s history through exploratory quests and puzzle games. In addition, there will be a new land NFT sale within The Wildlands map location.

Bruce Lee-themed assets will include a creator asset pack containing the Bruce Lee companion figurine and the Little Dragon Nunchucks. There’ll also be a limited-edition Bruce Lee holographic skateboard, for good measure.
