Arbitrum Foundation, Weeb3, Azuki join forces to launch an anime network

Arbitrum (ARB) Foundation expands its footprint by collaborating with Weeb3 Foundation and a non-fungible token (NFT) platform Azuki, to revolutionize digital experiences for anime fans.

The three organizations will utilize Web3 technology to transform anime fandom, incorporating first-party & third-party games, content, NFTs, and merch. Azuki’s team stated,

“With our anime productions, games, and physical products, we will showcase the power of a decentralized model for growing IP on AnimeChain.”

The firms have named the project AnimeChain. Arbitrum’s Nina Rong trusts ARB’s advanced scaling solutions will empower the new initiative, transforming anime experiences for global creators and fans.

Venturing into the expanding anime sector

The official statement highlighted that anime fans have endured fragmented experiences so far. They added that the growing anime industry could surpass $60 billion in market cap by 2030, making it one of the fastest-expanding sectors in the entertainment world.

Further, Weeb3 Foundation will serve as AnimeChain’s developer.

Azuki has been among the most debated NFT projects, working to remain afloat despite community backlash.
