Render Network, OTOY, Stability AI, and Endeavor Partner to Standardize AI in Media and Entertainment

Render Network, OTOY, StabilityAI, and Endeavor have joined forces to shape the future of AI in media and entertainment. The partnership aims to standardize IP rights, workflows, and infrastructure in emerging AI technologies that are set to revolutionize 3D, VFX, and media production workflows.
Leveraging Decentralized GPU Network for Affordable AI Training and Inference
By adding StabilityAI models directly to the Render Network, large AI models and 3D content workflows will be able to work together without any problems. Third-party apps will also be able to access web APIs, and the development of next-generation media models will be able to scale to over a million consumer GPUs.

Fostering Open Standards and Democratizing Access
StabilityAI will collaborate with OTOY within the Immersive Digital Experiences Alliance (IDEA) to promote open standards for integrating AI models into 3D workflows across various domains, including product design, motion graphics, VFX, composition, and spatial holographic endpoints.
The goal is to influence standards across the media and entertainment ecosystem and ensure that access to this powerful technology is democratized, enhancing creativity for all while promoting innovation with integrity.
Developing Transparent IP Tracking Tools
A key focus of the collaboration will be the development of transparent IP tracking tools, with support from Endeavor, to ensure that creators maintain control over their intellectual property and receive fair compensation for its use in AI models. This effort includes leveraging OTOY’s LightStage technology for ultra-realistic virtual performances, allowing artists to control the use of their likeness and IP.
Exponential GPU Demand and RNDR Burn

The partnership between Render Network, OTOY, StabilityAI, and Endeavor represents a major milestone in the advancement of AI applications in the arts and media industry. By combining the expertise of these industry leaders in open-source generative AI, media and entertainment, and GPU computing, the collaboration paves the way for more creative and inclusive AI applications while ensuring the protection of creators’ rights and fair compensation.
