The Sandbox Hooks Up with Star Atlas for Epic Design Contest
Premier virtual world, The Sandbox, has joined forces with epic space faring metaverse, Star Atlas. Together launching an incredible design contest with 50k $SAND tokens and a host of excellent spaceships up for grabs.
To get in on the action, participants must jump into The Sandbox’ VoxEdit suite and get creative. Therein, designing and building a magnificent piece of headgear with Star Atlas in mind, while optionally taking inspiration from the astral beats of The Sandbox and Star Atlas artist, BLOND:ISH.
Once complete, budding creators must then animate their fantastic helm in GIF form, before sharing it on socials tagging @thesandboxgame, @staratlas and @voxedit, utilizing the tags #VoxEditWeekly and #WeAreStarAtlas. Then, to ensure 100% submission, complete the Google entry form.
Designers have until 23:59 on May 15 to get their entries in. Following which, voting will occur between May 16 and June 11. Then, the esteemed judges will declare the eventual winners on June 11.
The top ten designs will all win a combination of $SAND tokens and exclusive Star Atlas spaceships, with the grand overall winner walking away with 20k $SAND and their very own Opal Bitboat Ship. So, switch that design brain into gear, and get creative!
