MapleStory Universe had a strong Q4 2025, with lifetime accounts up to 1.9 million

Nexpace has released its Q4 2025 MapleStory Universe ecosystem report titled “Continuing operational normalization while expanding utility and ecosystem levers”.

The quarter marked a shift in focus from stabilization and foundation-building to core gameplay and infrastructure improvements, and the activation of long-term growth mechanisms.

In terms of headline data, the underlying Henesys blockchain processed around 46 million onchain transactions in Q4, while registered lifetime accounts reached 1.9 million, up from 1.75 million at the end of Q3. Revenue totaled around 8 million NXPC ($2.8 million).

Engagement quality also improved. After a 14% decline in ARPU during Q3, average quarterly ARPU increased by 59% in Q4, reaching 100 NXPC ($3.48). With user numbers remaining relatively stable, this indicates deeper engagement from verified players, particularly highlighted by the MSN Winter V Update, the introduction of the 5th Job Advancement, and new progression systems.

At the ecosystem level, MSU launched its $50 million Nexpace Ecosystem Fund, introduced a quarterly NXPC burn, and rolled out NXPC staking. By 31st December, circulating supply reached 231 million NXPC, reflecting 26 million NXPC in new emissions and 4 million NXPC burned.

During this period, it also became apparent just how proactively Nexpace is dealing with bots to enhance onboarding, retention and monetization. In November 2025, the developer announced it had banned 37% of accounts since the launch of its PC game MapleStory N.

Looking ahead, in 2026, Nexpace is looking to expand utility, support scalability, and build long-term ecosystem value, including the full launch of Reactor, which enables controlled NFT-to-NXPC conversions.
