Sony launches proof-of-contribution Soneium Score to continuously reward onchain activity
Sony has announced the launch of its onchain scoring and rewards system Soneium Score.
A proof-of-contribution initiative tracking and rewarding users’ ecosystem participation, Soneium Score is built by Sony’s blockchain arm Soneium Block Solutions Labs.
Designed to drive engagement on Sony’s Ethereum L2 blockchain Soneium, the scoring system also offers a verifiable identity layer, helping Soneium reward real users, not bots.
Participants can earn points by climbing leaderboards and collecting non-transferable SBT badges, which will be claimable via OpenSea. Onchain interactions, including swapping assets, staking assets, and minting NFTs count towards a user’s score.
More particularly, participants can earn four different scores.
Season 1 launches with two ecosystem partners as part of the Bonus Score, decentralized exchange protocol Uniswap and web3 game developer Evermoon.
Additional projects integrated in some way with Soneium Score include Aave, Kyo, Morpho Vaults, QuickSwap, Sake, SoneFi, SoneX, Steer (via Kyo and QuickSwap), Synstation, Untitled Bank, Velodrome, and WaveX.
