Ukrainians will be able to marry and divorce in a virtual metaverse

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov said that the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working to ensure that Ukraine starts providing services in the direction of the metaverse.

So, according to Fedorov, the mission of the Ministry of Digital Development is to make the most convenient country in the world in terms of public services, so that all services are in one click.

"One more point has been added to this mission with the most innovative protection system, because it is impossible to talk about a convenient country when you have missiles flying over your head. Security technologies are a new trend, which now, after the war in Ukraine, will be in demand for a lot of years ahead," he said.

At the same time, Fedorov emphasized that the team of the Ministry of Digital Development is focusing on two trends - govtech (making other countries buy your solutions) and military tech - protection.

"These are the two areas on which we are focusing, we will do everything to be the first in the world, and so that this happens as soon as possible," the minister said.

Fedorov also said that the Ministry of Digital Development is studying the option of launching the opportunity to get married and divorce in the metaverse.

"Also I will make a certain spoiler if we are already talking about the metaverse. We already have several MVPs in the direction of the metaverse (Minimum viable product - minimum viable product), where we want to start providing services, and become one of the first countries in the world to have this We are already working on the first service - we have several options - we are testing everything: for example, one of the services we want to launch the ability to get married and divorce in the metaverse.
