GIGACHADBAT Plans Exit From Abstract Once Delabs Play Season 2 Concludes

gigachadbat plans exit from abstract once delabs play season 2 concludes In Brief:

GIGACHADBAT is moving off Abstract. A post on the game’s official X account said its stint on the chain will finish after Delabs Play Season 2 ends.

The game isn’t going away, the team stressed. However, the post named no new platform and gave no timeline for revealing one.

“After Delabs Play Season 2 ends, the journey on Abstract comes to an end, but @GIGACHADBAT is not over,” the post read.

No destination yet

The announcement gave no end date for Season 2. It also didn’t explain what will happen to players’ points, progress or rewards after the move.

Season 2 will therefore be the final Delabs Play season GIGACHADBAT runs on Abstract. The team urged players to “Enjoy the final season on Abstract.”

For now, the game’s official website still describes it as a free-to-play baseball game on Abstract. The site encourages players to “Rack up points every at-bat, then redeem them for rewards on Delabs Play.”

Delabs Play

Delabs Play is the hub Delabs Games created to handle player rewards across its titles. Its first season, called the Grand Season, put up $1,000 in $CHAD.

Along with GIGACHADBAT, the hub features Boxing Star X, Ragnarok Libre and the studio’s RRS title. The Delabs whitepaper says gameplay and community rewards are distributed in seasons.

The studio has run seasonal campaigns before. The first, Press Play On The Future, ran from May 8 to June 8, 2025, and rewarded active Boxing Star X players with $DELABS. Later, Ragnarok Libre held an airdrop season with a prize pool of 30,000,000 $DELABS.

Second chain move

This is the second time the game has switched platforms. Delabs first launched GIGACHADBAT in July 2024 as a baseball clicker on Telegram Mini Apps, built on TON.

In that version, players opened the game through a Telegram bot and tapped to swing. They could bet points for a chance to multiply them, and players who linked a TON wallet could claim daily rewards. The plan was for those points to convert into $GAME GAME$0.0009613▼ -4.9% GAME$0.0009613▲ +0.5% tokens at a later stage.

The game later moved to Abstract under YGG Play, the publishing arm of Yield Guild Games. It went live there on Sept. 18, 2025, along with a GIGACHADBAT map in YGG’s LOL Land. The two companies hosted a live showcase on Sept. 22 during Korea Blockchain Week.

When it launched on Abstract, players tapped to charge swing power before each pitch, and longer hits earned more points. Players could redeem those points for YGG tokens and Abstract XP. Tournaments, check-ins, bonuses and multipliers offered extra rewards.

Studio background

Delabs Games is the web3 division of 4:33 Creative Lab, based in South Korea. The studio is co-led by James Joonmo Kwon, known as JMK, and JC Kim.

Hashed, Spartan Group and TON Ventures are among its investors. In 2024, Yield Guild Games took part in both a strategic round and a Series A.

When the game launched on Abstract last year, Kwon said Delabs had concentrated on “creating a fun, snackable experience with a fast core loop, simple mechanics anyone can pick up instantly, and the added thrill of redeeming points for YGG tokens.”

The team’s latest message ended with just one line about what comes next: “The new platform will be announced later.”
