Moca Network launches gamified digital identity system MocaProof

The latest element in Animoca Brands’ Moca Network is now live, at least in terms of its beta version.

MocaProof is described as a gamified digital identity verification and reward platform that leverages blockchain to simplify and advance data privacy and self-sovereignty. 

MocaProof is integrated with Moca Network’s AIR Kit SDK and uses its Moca Chain blockchain to verify ID data via zero-knowledge proofs, also using decentralized data storage, onchain monetization, and single sign-on. 

This means users can prove their ownership of assets and participate in off and onchain ecosystem without disclosing raw data or any identifiable information. 

In order to provide a more gamified and simple experience, MocaProof includes a virtual pet called Mocat, who provides users with a personal visualization of their verified credentials. And as you verify more credentials, your Mocat evolves with different traits representing rarity of the verified data. Your Mocat’s rarity will also unlock various rewards.

Currently operating on the Moca Chain testnet, it’s expected that MocaProof will launch on the mainnet in 2026. This will be supported by a month-long campaign featuring a competition with a $50,000 reward prize pool, and the ability to earn MOCA tokens and AIR SP, the stablecoin-backed loyalty points that can be spent in AIR Shop.
