Legend of YMIR marks 200 days with major content push

Wemade is celebrating the 200-day anniversary of Legend of YMIR’s global launch with a substantial content update, introducing new progression systems, competitive modes, and a raft of in-game events for its Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG.

The headline addition is a character level cap expansion to 80, accompanied by new long-term growth systems including Mastery and Persona progression paths.

New mission content,including Lindwurm Cave, Hilder’s Labyrinth Floor 1, Sigrun’s Trial, and Awakening Stage 1 Level 70 quests, gives players who have reached previous ceilings somewhere to go. Equipment updates and Alchemy improvements, now integrated directly with the Premium Shop, round out the vertical progression overhaul.

On the competitive side, the update introduces a 3v3 Colosseum format built around fast-paced combat, role combinations, and quick decision-making. It’s a smaller-scale counterpart to the game’s existing large-scale PvP. A new battlefield, Sindri’s Lost Treasure Island, sees clans compete across five islands of varying sizes for key resources. Season 3, titled “Season of Competition”, launches alongside both modes.

Cooperative players get World Raid Audhumla, a server-wide boss encounter where factions put aside rivalries to fight a common enemy, and World Battlefront, which expands multi-user combat across wider areas transcending individual servers.

A new unnamed class focused on quick attacks, agile movement, and close-combat specialization is also in the pipeline, alongside further 2026 content including Blood Valkyrie, Mimir’s Spring, and Server Invasion.

Anniversary events include a Toast of Glory expedition, Tomte’s Golden Feast refreshing existing Loki content, a 14-day login event, a 200-Day Special Pass, and commemorative rewards for players logging in on the milestone day. Storage and Inventory expansion costs will be discounted during the event period.

The winning design from the 1st Global Disir Design Contest, called”Boitatázinha”, and inspired by Brazilian folklore, has been added to the game, and an Indonesian language pack is set to arrive on 16 May.

The 2nd YMIR Cup World Championship is also confirmed for June, building on the inaugural tournament held in partnership with Razer in Singapore earlier this year. Legend of YMIR also launched on Steam in April, expanding its reach beyond its existing platforms.
