Nazara and World Cricket Championship integrate Stan’s onchain rewarded action protocol
Having recently announced an extended $10.5 million funding round, Indian gaming social community app Stan is now launching its next key product.
Called Photon, it’s a formalized protocol for baking in how its users are rewarded for their actions within the app.
Labelled a universal attention protocol, Photon means users can be verified for watching videos, scrolling feeds, participating with communities and creators, and playing games. This verification means users can also be properly rewarded for these actions.
This happens because Photon enables programmable onchain settlement, effectively acting as a marketplace, matching the needs of game companies and advertisers to gain audience and brand awareness without fraud, with Stan users’ interest in new games, cool brands and rewards.
The first companies who will be integrating Photon into their existing networks are Indian games giant Nazara and the World Cricket Championship.
Photon is built on the Aptos blockchain and operates on devices’ Trusted Execution Environments to process data securely. Only zero-knowledge-style proofs are recorded onchain, preserving users’ privacy while delivering accountability and transparency.
