Seven weeks in, FIFA Rivals hits 1 million mobile downloads

 

 

 

Launched on 12th June via Apple App Store and Google Play, Mythical Games’ FIFA-licensed football game FIFA Rivals has surpassed 1 million downloads. 

 

Deployed on Mythical’s Mythos blockchain, which is built on L1 blockchain Polkadot, FIFA Rivals launched alongside the FIFA club world cup kickoff. 

 

Other stats Mythical has released from the game so far include:

 

 

  • 5 million matches played,
  • 16 million goals,
  • 14 million interceptions,
  • 7 million super moves, and
  • 4 million goals saved.

 

 

A F2P mobile game, FIFA Rivals is a PVP game where every match is a real-time contest between two players. Winning a match grants you a gacha ball containing rewards ranging from soft and hard currency to player level up cards as well as players you can add to your team.

As for the game’s NFTs, players can buy them via Mythical’s web-based marketplace Mythical Market. These range from player cards and other items such as balls, boots, emojis, animations, kits and emblems.

 

For the record, you can currently buy Messi for $350.

 

Expanding its NFT catalogue, the game recently entered its Adidas-themed season which features Copa, F50, and Predator gear. It also enables players to unlock exclusive items via its adiClub integration.
