L1 blockchain Saga reveals play-to-airdrop game portfolio
New L1 blockchain Saga has announced the games participating in its season 2 play-to-airdrop campaign titled The Three Kingdoms. A sequel to the first airdrop event hosted in December 2023, players on the season 2 leaderboard will be airdropped SAGA tokens at Saga’s mainnet launch planned later in H1 2024.
Starting 20th January, The Three Kingdoms is set to include tournaments running throughout January and February with games building across Saga and one of its three partner networks; Avalanche, Polygon and Solana. With about five games with each of its partners, the titles lined up for the tournaments are

- MixMob
- Necrodemic
- Parallel
- Phantom Galaxies
- SHRAPNEL
- StarHeroes
- STEPN
- Yuliverse
The airdrop tournaments will be held in addition to Saga’s regularly scheduled tournaments. Moreover, Saga is planning to open its Pegasus testnet to conduct developer tournaments during January and February to stress-test the system in preparation for its mainnet launch. In addition to its partnerships with Polygon, Avalanche and Solana, Saga also has around 300 developers building a variety of products on its infrastructure, however, it’s particularly focused on games.
Details and tournament times for The Three Kingdoms will be announced on a rolling basis via Saga’s social channels. US citizens can not participate due to SEC regulations.
