Post-World Cup 2026, FIFA Rivals launches All-Star event

The FIFA World Cup may be over, but Mythical Game’s FIFA Rivals is extending the excitement with a three-week All-Stars program that brings together the tournament’s standout performers at the highest power levels the game has ever offered.

Running until 16th August, the limited-time event is designed as an end-of-tournament celebration while also giving players a new progression path built around some of football’s biggest names.

At the heart of the event are a collection of 121-power Assembly Mythicals, featuring global stars such as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Achraf Hakimi and Spain goalkeeper Unai Simón.

Rather than relying purely on luck through packs rips, players can gradually work towards unlocking the footballer they want by collecting five different fragment types – Vision, Heart, Form, Mind and Soul – throughout the event. This progression system runs for the entire three weeks, rewarding players who participate consistently.

Alongside these headline players are a series of Legendary Chase Flash Events, which provide a faster-paced challenge. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday a new Legendary player becomes available, but only for a limited period and only through gameplay.

These cards cannot be purchased in packs, making them exclusive rewards for active players. Each Legendary also provides a fragment that contributes towards unlocking that week’s featured Mythical player. Miss one of these short windows, however, and that player disappears once the event ends.

The culmination of each week’s content arrives on Sunday, when players who have collected all three Legendary fragments gain access to a special Sunday Mythical Chase event. Completing it rewards a 122-power Mythical player, matching the strongest Chase Mythicals ever released in FIFA Rivals. These represent the highest-rated versions of the tournament’s breakout stars and are positioned as the ultimate prizes of the promotion.

Overall, the All-Stars program continues FIFA Rivals’ strategy of tying its live-service content closely to real-world football. During the World Cup, the game mirrored fixtures through nation-based events and themed player releases. Now that the tournament has concluded, Mythical is using the All-Stars event to celebrate the players who defined the competition while encouraging users to keep logging in during the post-World Cup period.
