Animoca launches $10 million AI Minds fund

Animoca Brands has announced an investment programme of up to $10 million for developers using its AI agent platform Animoca Minds.

Minds lets anyone deploy and direct always-on AI agents, allowing users full control via email and other messaging networks, without having to operate local servers or manage any hardware or software.

The $10 million Minds investment program will support early-stage teams with a strong product thesis across any vertical, including gaming, finance, productivity or social, that uses Minds as a core product layer. They will also need to demonstrate execution capability and a practical path to build deployable products and scalable businesses. 

Animoca Brands is ready to invest in such projects in order to help them scale for the agentic web. As such, the investment allocation is quality-driven and not bound by a fixed schedule. 

In addition to funding, some projects will also get platform support and direct access to the Minds technical team. It also opens for potential partnerships with Animoca Brands partner portfolio of more than 600 web3 companies. 

Some of the core features the Minds platform offers include persistent agents that remember context, ‍‍collaborative network intelligence, access via email or instant Telegram message, and sovereign agents.

Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu, who himself is a frequent user of AI agents, commented,
